COVID-19 Numbers Set Record In Indiana, Up In Northeast Indiana

Coronavirus cases in Indiana were up again by over 1,000 on Friday--hitting a new record high of 1,495 with 13 new deaths reported.

Hospitalizations are also up statewide, with 963 Hoosiers in the hospital seeking treatment for the disease.

Indiana moved to Stage 5 of its Roadmap to Reopening last weekend, and the mask mandate is set to expire in the middle of the month.

Allen County reported 58 positive cases Friday, bringing the total to 6,531.

Elsewhere in northeast Indiana, a number of counties reported double-digit increases in COVID-19 cases on Friday, including 27 in Kosciusko County, 15 in Huntington County and 14 in Steuben County.
