The Legacy Office Centre will house LegacyOne's real estate, construction and property management business, and has additional space for use by the community.

Another big development is slated for southeast Fort Wayne later this year.

Local real estate company LegacyOne, Inc. announced its intentions to construct a $500,000, 6,000 square foot building within Southtown Centre that would serve as its corporate office.

LegacyOne specializes in real estate, construction and property management.

Company owner Linda Golden says she hopes it’s a catalyst for other businesses to bring their operations to southeast Fort Wayne and help “revitalize” it.

Just under five acres of space will still be available in the area, which could eventually be used for additional office space, retail, and a coffee or bake shop. Construction will begin in a few weeks.

This is the second announcement of a new development in Southtown Centre this week; on Tuesday, a new Starbucks was revealed on the property off of U.S. 27 that will begin construction “later this year.”
