Bob Mayer

Host, Tossed Jazz Salad

Bob Mayer is a native of Elmont (next door to Queens), New York.  Bob earned his Bachelors degree in Music Education at the Jordan Conservatory of Music of Butler University in Indianapolis in 1969, where he was a substitute member of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Izler Solomon.  He received his Masters degree in Music Education from Queens College, City College of New York in 1975. Currently retired as jazz ensemble/pep band director and music instructor at the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Bob finds time to teach a few lessons and repair instruments.
