Since February of 2019, 89.1 WBOI has made podcasts available to listen on demand across platforms such as Spotify, Stitcher, or TuneIn. In January of 2021, our station began broadcasting podcasts during the six p.m. hour on Saturdays for a show called The WBOI Podcast Cafe.

Part 2

You can find the podcast at npr.org and hear all of our shows on Apple Podcasts, GooglePlay, Spotify, Stitcher and TuneIn. Be sure to subscribe wherever podcasts are found and leave a review if possible.

During this show, we’ll hear from podcast producers and creators from northeast Indiana. We’ve partnered with several local creatives to make their programs available over the airwaves and create podcasts in our own studios. We’ll highlight Heart of the Hustle, & Good Company, Women Are: Fort Wayne, and Act Of Listening as well as shows we produce like The I In Immigrant, WBOI Artcentric, and WBOI Presents.

You can also listen to Julia Meek’s conversations with Sara Fiedelholtz, Stephanie Gottesman and Traci Henning-Kolberg.

Special thanks to Founders Spark, Monstrous Regiment Media, and Thinkbox Strategies for providing audio for this program. Our music is by Mark Waldick, Noah Campodico, and Kurt Roembke, with additional music from KelsiCote. Our web producer is Loyal Vandenburg. Our production assistants are Monica Blankenship, Steve Mullaney, and Sydney Wagner.
