Northeast Indiana Water Trails is gearing up for its 6th annual Pedal, Paddle, Play! Scavenger Hunt, this Saturday, July 17th at Promenade Park.

Once the "hunters" return, by bike or river trail, the annual afterparty begins, which is free for the public to attend as well, featuring live music provided by local tribute legends, Pink Droyd, beverage service from Trubble Riverfront.

Representatives from nine different environmental and recreation groups will also be on hand to talk with  participants about the importance of maintaining water trails.

WBOI's Julia Meek sat down with principal Programs Manager, Kyle Quandt, to learn the mission and scope of the organization, and how this community-wide event will benefit the area.
