Food delivery robots have begun rolling out on Ball State University’s campus, delivering campus dining options to students, staff, and guests.

Ball State University is keeping its “room and board” rates for students steady next year, for the second year in a row. But now tuition at the Muncie school will increase.

A new transfer program between Ball State University and Ivy Tech Community College will see students living in Ball State dorms while taking classes at Ivy Tech, and if they do well, they get automatic enrollment to the four-year school.

To do that, it’s anchoring new business development there with a new on-campus performance venue for theater, dance, and local events.

The Muncie school will stop requiring masks at the end of the business day on Friday, May 4, right as many students are leaving campus for Spring Break.
