John O’Connell, Dean of Purdue Fort Wayne’s College of Visual and Performing Arts is “shaking up Shakespeare” before his retirement in June, with a clever farce opening Friday called The Taming of the Shrew: The March for the Vote.

Fort Wayne Youtheatre is gearing up for a fresh take on a classic literary adventure with its upcoming production of Peter Pan & Wendy, which opens on Feb. 20.

The organization is one of the oldest children's theaters in the nation, having been around and operating continuously since 1934.

The Indiana Musical Theatre Foundation, continues to expand its reach and output on the local entertainment scene, building on a successful high school summer program created in 2019.

The play, called The Schubert Ladies Quartet, opens Friday, Nov. 15, at Baker Street Centre Performance Hall, formerly known as C2G Music Hall.
