Delphi homicides

He was convicted last month in the 2017 killings of two teens who vanished during a winter hike. He received the maximum prison sentence in a case that's long cast a shadow over the town of Delphi in Carroll County.

Reporters inside the courtroom said Allen, 52, showed no reaction as the verdict was delivered, but he looked back at his family at one point. Allen is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 20. He could face up to 130 years in prison.

Allen Superior Judge Fran Gull is being appointed by the Indiana Supreme Court to fill the role after Carroll County judge recused himself.
