Better Picture, More Films: Cinema Center Goes Digital

Cinema Center in downtown Fort Wayne is known for showing movies you might not see elsewhere – everything from old classics, to indie films, and documentaries, to name a few.

On Friday, Cinema Center patrons will see those movies in a new way: the theater has made the transition to digital projection.

That means no film, no reels, and no moving parts in the projection booth.

The change might seem small, but it means better picture quality and a wider selection of films for movie-goers.

Cinema Center Executive Director Jonah Crismore talked with WBOI's Katy Anderson about the transition.
