Fort Wayne Couple Shares Spotlight In First Presbyterian Theater Production

Beginning this Thursday, First Presbyterian Theater is presenting "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest."

The original novel by Ken Kesey, published in 1962,  was adapted for the stage the following year, and its highly acclaimed film version won all five major Acadamy Awards in 1975. Over 50 years later, the story is as powerful and moving as ever.

When WBOI's Julia Meek learned that the iconic parts of the rebellious hero, Randle P. McMurphy, and his adversary, Nurse Rached were being played by real-life couple, Joel Grillo and Emily Arata, she invited them into the studio to discuss the impact this has made on their own lives, both on and off stage.
