Agen's Musical Journey Continues To Evolve

Now that Addison Agen has returned home, after finishing 2nd in the latest season of NBC's "The Voice," the excitement in her life continues full throttle, including a declaration earlier this week by Mayor Henry, of an official "Addison Agen Day."

Addison's musical activities continue to claim her attention full time, and she is gratified to finally have the time to devote to composing music again, after a long hiatus to participate in the competition.

For a look at the past year's activities from the young musician's perspective, WBOI's Julia Meek invited Addison into the studio to discuss her takeaways from the whole experience, what "normal" means to her these days, and what the next chapter of her life might bring.

For more information on Addison's music, performances and cd, visit her Facebook page.

A Fort Wayne native, Julia is a radio host, graphic artist, and community volunteer, who has contributed to NIPR both on- and off-air for forty years. Besides being WBOI's arts & culture reporter, she currently co-produces and hosts Folktales and Meet the Music.
