Marble Lounge Records Making Tracks To First Album Release Date

Credit John Dawkins
Miles Fulwider sees the Fort Wayne arts scene as the perfect place for a program like USF's student-run Marble Lounge Records to flourish.

Since the University of Saint Francis' student-run Marble Lounge Records named its 1st recording artist two weeks ago, music tech students, and Fort Wayne band, Rosalind & the Way are working at full speed and then some, to produce a full length album.

The release date is set for April 27th, and will be celebrated with a Drop Party at the school's Performing Arts Center on Berry Street.

For a look behind the scenes, WBOI's Julia Meek lured the University's music chair, Miles Fulwider, and the band's founder and front woman, Cassie Beer, away from USF's studio, and into our own, to discuss the excitement such a project carries with it, and the various multi-tasking that's underway.
