Saturday is Record Store Day, and here in Fort Wayne, that means Wooden Nickel Recordsand Neat! Neat! Neat! Records and Music employees are working overtime to get everything in order, on the shelves and ready for the fun.

Inaugurated in 2007, the event is held annually, on a Saturday in April, to celebrate the culture of the independently owned record store.

With its origins and headquarters firmly rooted in the United States, the celebration now has official international organizers in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Australia and Spain.

For a sneak peek at this year's festivities, WBOI's Julia Meek managed to lure store owners, Bob Roets and Morrison Agen away from their preparations and into our studio to discuss the pleasures of the indie retail music business, and what hits they'll be spinning  for their customers this Saturday.
