When Fort Wayne resident, Cassie Ledbetter decided to change careers, she traded her Archaeology tools in for a defunct Main Street bar in need of TLC, hired Left Lane Cruiser's Pete Dio as music booking manager and, well...dug in.

The venue hosts a variety of local music, and national and international touring acts each week. A variety of interactive events are offered earlier in the evenings as well, from trivia and bingo to twice-weekly karaoke shows.

The Ruin owner, Cassie Ledbetter, and music booking manager, Pete Dio are excited to bring an assortment of live music and good cheer to this new downtown venue.

To learn how the adventure has taken shape, WBOI's Julia Meek sat down with the two of them to discuss this fresh new venue in the former Skeletunes location, and where its reincarnation as The Ruin" fits into its near-West Central neighborhood, and complements the downtown music scene.
