Knowing the ins and outs of the business are critical, says Bechtold, and what the organization is all about.

Indiana Filmmakers Network has been working hard to facilitate dialogue among Hoosier film and video makers for over a decade, through monthly meetings held in hub cities across the state.

Its long time president, Nathan Bechtold, admits that his own passion for filmmaking and a desire to help creative individuals to see their visions become reality is what drives him to make time for this volunteer position, which he's quick to explain is definitely a labor of love.

For a look at the organization's scope, WBOI invited Bechtold into the studio to talk about the many aspects of the craft, and how the connections being formed can impact the industry.

Event Information:

Monthly Meetings of the Indiana Filmmakers Network here in Fort Wayne are held on the fourth Thursday of every month at the Cinema Center.
