2nd Annual HUB260 Day Weekend

Like the area code it represents, this family friendly, self-guided event encompasses many small businesses and arts organizations in Fort Wayne and Allen County, and surrounding communities from Angola and Auburn to Huntington and Wabash.

This grassroots initiative is designed to encourage and strengthen the sense of place that makes the region special and unique to its members.

WBOI’s Julia Meek discusses the event’s origins and offerings with its Ambassador, Fort Wayne’s Councilwoman at large, Michelle Chambers.

Find more event information and online publication issues at the HUB260 website.

A Fort Wayne native, Julia is a radio host, graphic artist, and community volunteer, who has contributed to NIPR both on- and off-air for forty years. Besides being WBOI's arts & culture reporter, she currently co-produces and hosts Folktales and Meet the Music.
