IPFW's Larry Kuznar Talks Paris, ISIS & More

IPFW

Following last Friday’s terrorist attacks in Paris, many were left wondering if their city could also be subjected to such an attack.

Dr. Larry Kuznar is a professor of anthropology at IPFW and regularly consults with the Pentagon as an analyst on matters pertaining to ISIS.

In the aftermath of the Paris terrorist attacks, Indiana Governor Mike Pence announced the state would be suspending Syrian refugee settlement.

Many governors have taken a similar position, including those in Illinois and Michigan. As of 6pm Monday, the US State Department is looking into the legality of such positions.

WBOI’s Zach Bernard spoke with Kuznar about the Paris attacks, President Obama’s response, and security in the United States.
