A 42-year-old Auburn man is accused of wire fraud in a $3 million embezzlement case.

Brian Nordan of Auburn faces a 13-count federal indictment accusing him of using company credit cards and other means to take more than $3 million from the company where he worked as a general manager and chief marketing officer.

According to a press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Indiana, the scheme took place between May 2017 and March 2018. It involved two members of his family: his spouse Dustin Coleman of Cassopolis, Michigan, and his sister Angela Jasinksi of Granger. They are also charged in the indictment.

According to social media postings on LinkdIn and elsewhere, Nordan worked at Afdent Dentistry during the period in question.

One of the elements of the scheme involved an investment in a toothpaste company, according to the press release.

All three have been arrested, have appeared in court, and since been released pending trial, according to court records.
