Middle Waves 2020 Lineup Revealed

Cold War Kids and Big Boi headline the large list of local and national talent playing the 2020 Middle Waves music festival June 12 and 13 at the Electric Works campus.

They join the likes of Flaming Lips, Lizzo and MGMT as previous major acts to play as part of the festival.

Following a year off in 2019, the festival has restructured itself somewhat, moving from Headwaters Park and moving it up three months, from September to June.

Middle Waves co-chair Beth McAvoy says one thing that hasn’t changed is the need for a large number of volunteers.

“Four people have already signed up without us letting them know that was an option! So amazing," McAvoy said. "It will take over 250 volunteers in addition to about 50 of our planners and board members to make Middle Waves happen.”

She says volunteers will receive discounted tickets. While many will be needed for both festival days, volunteers will also be needed for set-up and tear-down on that Thursday and Sunday, respectively.
