In northeast Indiana, Noble County is still seeing the greatest number of deaths from COVID-19 outside of Allen County.
As of Wednesday afternoon, this small county had 68 positive cases and 11 deaths were reported.
Allen County saw an additional 19 cases added to the count on Wednesday, bringing the total to 533. Forty-eight county residents have died from the disease.
At a press conference Wednesday afternoon, Allen County, Fort Wayne and other officials offered updates on the way the community has responded to the coronavirus pandemic.
As more cases of COVID-19 are uncovered and confirmed, the officials reminded area residents to practice social distancing, wash hands thoroughly and regularly, and to continue to limit activities in group settings.
Indiana is still under a stay-at-home order issued by Gov. Eric Holcomb weeks ago.
