Kingston Care Center of Fort Wayne reported three deaths in their facility earlier this week due to COVID-19. Fourteen new positive cases were discovered this week, according to their website.

It is the latest known local instance of a long-term care facility outbreak of the disease caused by the coronavirus.

Allen County has increased testing, and has seen its numbers increase as well. There are now 2,277 cases of COVID-19, and 91 residents have died.

LaGrange County’s numbers continue to climb, with 320 cases reported Wednesday. The steady increase in recent days prompted the region’s only mandatory????  facial covering requirement.

Noble County now has 346 cases, but is increasing at a much slower rate than its neighbor LaGrange County.
