Northeast Indiana businesses to help celebrate "(260)Day Weekend" in February

HUB260

City officials, regional mayors and business leaders gathered at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art on Wednesday to commemorate the upcoming (260)Day Weekend in February.

The occasion is led by HUB260, which calls it “a grassroots celebration punctuated with deals and discounts from businesses, retailers, organizations, services and restaurants throughout the region.”

Mayor Tom Henry was on hand to read a proclamation for (260)Day, and was also joined by Mayor Steve McMichael of New Haven and Mayor Richard Hickman of Angola to mark the occasion.

(260)Day is being dubbed an “unofficial regional holiday,” and will take place the first Saturday and Sunday – the 5th and 6th, respectively – of February.

HUB260 is still fielding offers from local businesses through January 21, but some information about the types of deals that will be available can be found at HUB260's website.
