Allen County Health Department to offer drive-through COVID-19 vaccine clinic

Courtesy of IU Health

The Allen County Department of Health will offer residents free COVID-19 boosters at a drive-through clinic next week.

The bivalent vaccines from Moderna and Pfizer target the original COVID-19 strain, as well as the Omicron variant.

Residents who have already completed their primary vaccination series and are more than two months out from any COVID-19 vaccine can receive the booster at the Allen County Health Department Medical Annex on New Haven Avenue.

The bivalent boosters are the only vaccines the clinic will offer.

Residents seeking a vaccine must bring their ID and vaccination card. They must also be at least four weeks out from any monkeypox vaccination.

The clinic will go from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sept. 22.
