Northeast Indiana Now: September 5, 2025

The 66-year-old man convicted on the 1988 abduction, sexual assault, and murder of a Fort Wayne girl has died.

The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration is cutting voucher reimbursement rates for the Child Care and Development Fund.

Indiana lawmakers tasked the Secretary of State's office with studying whether to require all counties to use vote centers, and some Hoosiers are pushing back on the idea.
