A St. Joseph County judge has dismissed Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita's immigration-related lawsuit against Sheriff Bill Redman and the county.

Several Indiana voting rights organizations are suing the state over laws they say only target naturalized citizens.

If it's not resolved soon, the federal government shutdown will start hurting people who receive SNAP benefits, formerly known as food stamps.
