WBOI Presents: Redistricting

WFYI

This week’s program follows reporting that we’ve heard from Indiana Public Broadcasting throughout 2021 about the redistricting process in the General Assembly.

What maps are redrawn by the Indiana General Assembly? How does the process work? What are the impacts on policy and civic engagement? Andy Downs, Director of the Mike Downs Center for Indiana Politics at Purdue University Fort Wayne, moderates the conversation that was recorded via Zoom on October 20.

Panelists include:

Elizabeth Bennion, Professor of Political Science at Indiana University South Bend

Niki Kelly, Statehouse Reporter for the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette

Christopher Warshaw, Associate Professor of Political Science at George Washington University
