Fort Wayne police detectives arrested a 33-year-old woman in Wisconsin late Tuesday night in connection with the 2002 stabbing death of a 17-year old Fort Wayne girl.

According to a press release, Holly Boisvert was arrested on a single charge of murder. She is accused of the fatal stabbing of Stacy Degrandchamp. The case had been under review for more than a year, with witnesses and the suspect interviewed and forensic evidence tested.

According to a News Sentinel article from 2002, Degrandchamp was fatally stabbed in the chest after an argument with another girl. Police found DeGrandchamp collapsed near a home in the 1300 block of Guthrie Street. She was taken to a hospital, where she later died. No knife or weapon was found at the scene.

Boisvert was arrested without incident by Fort Wayne police detectives who had travelled to Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. She is awaiting extradition, held in the Fond Du Loc jail.
