Lighthouse Affects is a newly launched program here in Fort Wayne, especially designed to engage and empower creative young people through artistic expression.

These interactive experiences result in producing artwork inspired by the songs of the team's featured musicians, and it all comes together this Saturday, with an evening of celebration at the University of Saint Francis' Robert Goldstein Performing Arts Center that throws a spotlight on this year's art and music.

With this high energy event on the horizon, WBOI's Julia Meek invited two of the organization's co-founders, Mimi Burns and William Brown, into the studio to discuss the project's unique platform, what plans for expansion the future will bring, and the inroads and connections already being made.
