Fort Wayne's Embassy Theatre is hosting its annual benefit concert, Down the Line 14, on Saturday evening and this year's stage offers a full female-led lineup.

Always a popular celebration of "legends by locals," this years one-night music tribute will take on a new energy as it showcases the music of Dolly Parton, Linda Rondstadt, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin and The Bangles, as well as the talent and spirit of the musicians performing onstage.

Amanda, Kurt and Michael are gratified to see the the whole music community embraces this chance for women and their music to take the lead.

Last week WBOI's Julia Meek sat down with the Embassy's program manager, Michael Brett and two of this year's performers, Amanda Kittredge Prieur and Kurt Roberts to discuss how this all-woman spotlight will illuminate the local music scene.
