U.S. Senator Todd Young is pleased to see Indiana embracing more tech manufacturing, like a new semiconductor plant in southwest Indiana. A Ball State University economist says that manufacturing is also better for the state’s economy.

Young told Liz Schrayer, president and CEO of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition, that he believes financial support will help reduce the chance of the U.S. having to become involved militarily in either conflict.

It was one of several topics at Wednesday’s Federal Focus lunch with the chamber of commerce at Ivy Tech Bloomington.
