Fort Wayne-based artist Frank Louis Allen is gaining fame around the world for his distinctive illustrations.

Originally from England, Allen now calls Northeast Indiana home, and galleries and collectors alike have embraced the unpredictable grace of his abstract work.

Allen is also an artist with autism, a discovery he made relatively recently in life.

This weekend, he'll present an on-site demonstration at Artworks, the Galleria of Fine Art in Jefferson Pointe.

WBOI's Julia Meek recently met with the artist to talk about his work, and his journey.
