Fort Wayne Artists Going Graphic For Film Icon

Cinema Center will be hosting its Remake fund raising event this Saturday, which features an annual sale and auction of movie posters designed by area artists.

This year, thirteen Fort Wayne artists were invited to create a poster inspired by their favorite Bill Murray movie. Smaller versions of each poster will be for sale, as well as a silent auction of the framed and signed full size posters.

And afterwards, there's a screening of "Where the Buffalo Roam," Murray's take on Hunter S. Thompson.

WBOI's Julia Meek met with project curator Joe Zimmerman and graphic designer Jenn Storey to learn how the event was born, and to get a sneak peek at this year's Murray-centric offerings.
