Teen Novel Speaks To Love, Loss And Letting Go

With her second young adult novel, Six Goodbyes We Never Said, Indiana native Candace Ganger has delivered a riveting story about two teenagers each dealing with the loss of their parents that will resonate with readers of all ages.

Now living in Ohio, Ganger still connects with her Hoosier roots and will be in town later this month to participate in the Park Department's Sundays on the Riverfront program.

The fictional town of Ivy Springs, Indiana is the setting for her novels.

Last week WBOI's Julia Meek met with Ganger to discuss the motivation for this compelling story of recovering from loss, and the author's connection to her audience.
