Fort Wayne Hosts Workshop On Reproductive Justice

All Options Pregnancy Resource Center (Facebook)

A workshop providing information on women’s reproductive rights was held at the Allen County Public Library on Saturday.

The workshop, hosted by All Options Pregnancy Resource Center, encouraged participants to analyze personal biases and discuss the stigmas and complications that come along with women’s reproductive issues, at the health and legislative levels.

Jessica Bunch is an organizer with Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky. She says reproductive justice doesn’t get much attention in northeast Indiana.

“Planned Parenthood has not necessarily been the loudest force here in Fort Wayne, and we’re trying to change that stigma by having education workshops here to do the work that needs to be done.”

Attendees of the workshop were also given details on bills in the state legislature that affect reproductive rights, and were given tips on how to respond to them.
