Wells County has had its first fatality from COVID-19, according to the Indiana State Department of Health. Sixty-five Wells County residents have tested positive for the disease.
Two more Allen County residents died from COVID-19 over the weekend, bringing the total to 94 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.
A total of 2,414 positive cases have been diagnosed in Allen County, after an addition of 93 new cases over the weekend.
Additional deaths have been reported in Whitley County, which now has four, and LaGrange County, which has five.
LaGrange County now has 377 cases, the second-highest total in northeast Indiana. They have had 109 recoveries, according to the LaGrange County Health Department’s social media.
