Purde University to Host Virtual Homecoming in November

PURDUE UNIVERSITY

Purdue University in West Lafayette has announced its homecoming will be taking place virtually this year to limit the spread of COVID-19.

Vice President for University Advancement and alumni engagement, Matt Folk, says the opportunity to bring homecoming directly into people’s homes means including people who might otherwise not be able to attend.

Purdue will offer virtual programming to alumni around the globe. Special programming includes a virtual 5K, a reunion event for the class of 1970 and daily livestreams of university events.

The virtual homecoming theme is Giant Leaps @ Home and will take place from Nov. 9-14, concluding with the Purdue football game against Northwestern University.

Planning is still ongoing. You can find more information and updates about programmings by visiting the Purdue homecoming website.
