In northeast Indiana, those between the ages of 50 to 59 remain among the largest groups infected with COVID-19.

Statewide, those between the ages of 20 to 29 make up the largest number. But in this area, that group is again tied with those 50 to 59, as has been the case for much of the pandemic.

Steuben County reported two additional deaths Monday, bringing that county’s total to 42 the number of those lost to the virus.

Seven-day positivity rates around northeast Indiana were all down below 20 percent on Monday.

ICU capacity in the region is at 27.2 percent, with more than 50 percent of the area’s ICUs filled with non-COVID patients.

COVID-19 hospitalizations are at 211 in northeast Indiana and 2,386 statewide.

There have been 366,114 Hoosiers vaccinated for COVID-19. The total number of positive cases since the pandemic began is 592,709, according to the Indiana Department of Health.
