The Deer Park Irish Pub spent Saturday morning helping its patrons get vaccinated. Owner Tony Henry brought in contractors from the 3 Rivers Pharmacy to offer the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
Throughout the day, Henry showed encouragement to those getting vaccines and visited with patrons inside and outside of the bar. Those were vaccinated received five "beer bucks" to spend on any day after the day of their vaccination.
The Allen County Health Department said they hadn’t heard of any other private businesses doing a vaccine day.
