There have been 157 Allen County lives taken by COVID-19 as of Thursday, with two additional deaths reported by the Allen County Health Department.

Forty new positive cases were reported, bringing the total to 3,490 in Allen County.

Indiana had 970 positive cases reported on Thursday, another day of significant increase since the lowest numbers in early June. Thirteen new deaths were reported statewide.

Continued increases in positive cases over the past month have led Gov. Eric Holcomb to stall the state’s Road to Reopening at Stage 4.5 for the next month.

Twenty new cases were reported in Kosciusko County and another six cases were reported in Noble County.
