Two More Allen County Coronavirus Deaths, Nearly 30 New Cases

Two more residents of Allen County died of COVID-19, bringing the death toll to 160. Another 27 have tested positive, bringing that total to 3,682, according to the Allen County Health Department.

 

The state of Indiana saw a total of 14 new deaths reported into Tuesday. There have been 2,794 Hoosier lives lost to the virus. The state also recorded another 836 new cases of the disease.

 

The positive test rate for Indiana is now at about 7.3 percent for the past week, with daily case reports averaging about 800, according to the State Department of Health.

 

Allen County’s positive test rate is about 10 percent, with a rolling seven-day average of about 35 cases per day.

 

Those ages 20-29 who have tested positive is now about 18 percent of the total, the largest segment of the population.
