Allen County surpassed 10,000 cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.
And almost all of Indiana’s 92 counties show increasing warnings for the spread of COVID-19, with positivity rates, hospitalizations and deaths increasing.
In Allen County, one more resident died Tuesday. There were 277 new cases of COVID-19 reported Wednesday to push the number of positive cases over 10,000 with 10,233 cases.
Every single northeast Indiana county saw double-digit increases of cases in the past 24 hours. And all northeast Indiana counties saw positivity rates at 8 percent or above, with the exception of Adams County.
One new death was reported in Adams County, and another in LaGrange County.
County totals for Wednesday in northeast Indiana:
- Adams County: 36 new cases, 779 total
- Allen County: 277 new cases, 10,233 total
- DeKalb County: 33 new cases, 1,020 total
- Huntington County: 28 new cases, 619 total
- Kosciusko County: 60 new cases, 2,555 total
- LaGrange County: 15 new cases, 930 total
- Noble County: 47 new cases, 1,466 total
- Steuben County: 19 new cases, 796 total
- Wabash County: 31 new cases, 661 total
- Wells County: 12 new cases, 585 total
- Whitley County: 23 new cases, 619 total
