Sgt. Joshua Hartup was charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian causing death, and paid $179 in fines and costs.

Allen County Prosecutor Michael McAlexander says there's no evidence of reckless manslaughter.

Henry Najdeski was crossing East Main Street around 7:30 Wednesday night when he was hit by Sgt. Joshua Hartup who was turning left onto Main Street from South Calhoun Street.
