Kelly Thompson

A record number of Democrats are running for office around the state this year and many in Allen County have launched campaigns for the first time.

The incumbent Republican gathered over 60 percent of the vote to face Democrat Kelly Thompson in November.

The protest is part of a trend of demonstrations across the country following the shooting of Renee Nicole Good by an ICE agent in Minneapolis.
