New Coronavirus Numbers Back Over 1,000 Statewide

CDC

Sixty-eight Allen County residents tested positive for COVID-19 and are among the 1,046 new cases reported throughout the state on Thursday.

Twenty additional Hoosiers have died from the disease.

The state’s total positivity rate stands at about 8.8 percent, with rates of over 10 percent in six northeastern Indiana counties.

Nineteen new cases were reported in Noble County, with the majority of the county’s cases in the 30-39 year old age group.

Five new cases were reported in Adams County, which has a small outbreak traced to a concert at a Decatur bar.

Statewide, COVID-19 hospitalizations are up to 991, the highest number since May, according to the State Department of Health.
