As the Coronavirus pandemic continues to rule our lives, residents are looking for safe ways to connect and projects to champion, which includes the care and well being of Fort Wayne's arts scene.

According to Arts United president, Susan Mendenhall, there are more than 18,500 creatives in the area who make their living at making art, and many of them are unable to work because of the current restrictions.

For a look at how things are going artistically, WBOI's Julia Meek talked with Mendenhall by phone about the challenges that are rising, the ways folks are responding and what we can all do to help the cause.
