Local organizers estimate they pulled more than 9,000 people to the Allen County Courthouse Green on Saturday. Additional protests saw more than 100 people in the more rural communities around the region.

The movement drew millions around the world to more than 2,700 events protesting the actions of the Trump administration. Protests around the area are growing in size.

Building on the momentum from the protests in June, organizers believe millions will turn out in the more than 2,600 events scheduled nationwide.

As parts of the protests, organizers gathered donations for area food pantries and charities.

The day of action was part of a nationwide movement protesting the actions of the Trump administration.
