City officials invited the public to get a glimpse of what the new Pufferbelly walking bridge will look like over Coliseum Boulevard.

The last bit of funding the City of Fort Wayne needs to complete its portion of the Pufferbelly Trail will build a walking bridge over Coliseum Boulevard. A private citizen is giving the city $5 million of what it needs.

The proposed trail would run along the south side of the property, but board members express concerns about a nearby intersection.

Next Level Trail grants were awarded last week to trail projects in Angola, Steuben County, and Fort Wayne.
