As the Fort Wayne Police Department investigates two officer-involved shootings from July, it released the names and records of the officers involved.

Linzell Pahrm was shot to death near the intersection of John and Hurd streets. He was a part-time program director at the Euell A. Wilson Center.

Both suffered non-life threatening injuries after a burglary suspect opened fire on police with a machine gun.

The Fort Wayne Police Department largely attributes this decrease to the Hope and Recovery Program, which prioritizes treatment over jail time.
