Each year, public school students across Northeast Indiana, when they aren’t in class or doing their homework, settle in front of an instrument and practice their hearts out. And no, they’re not getting ready for a sport, they’re preparing for Believe in A Dream’s annual String Dreams Concert.

As part of the Women’s Fund of Greater Fort Wayne's initiative, 450 sixth-grade girls spent a day with local women leaders. Five of these young trailblazers stepped into the WBOI studios to produce their own radio segment.

In partnership with The Landing, Live and Local will once again showcase some of the region’s most exciting local talent in a celebration of music, community, and summer. This year’s concerts begin May 29th. They will continue the last Friday of each month May through September.
