Allen County Public Library

As part of the Allen County Public Library's strategic plan, Storyscapes will be opening at each of the branches around the county.

The fundraising efforts came after funding for the program was removed from the Indiana state budget.

The goal of the cards is to get access to library resources into as many students' hands as possible, beginning with Towles Intermediate School.

Phase 1 was approved by the Allen County Council late last year.

The master facilities plan kicked off in earnest in 2024 and is expected to complete in 2028.

The program sends free monthly books to children in the county between birth and age 5.

The partnership gives patrons of the Allen County Public Library special access to Vintage Aerial's photography database.
